Description
Two trappers, working in Blackfeet country, have stopped at water’s edge to wash up and quench their thirst. Unfortunately, they have let down their guard just as the Blackfeet warriors approach the opposite shore. Although the lead warrior raises his hand in a gesture of peace, good relations may be the farthest thing from this Indian’s mind. The trappers know it – but each has left his flintlock just far enough from reach . . . .
